I'm trying to do what should be fairly simple (to an assem. lang. programer). I want to measure the time between two interupt driven assem. routines. We too are intersted in setting up a monitor for the HB. We have been tryiong to get BUFFALO to load on the Hb for a while (well, at least, when we get time to work on it!) so far weve encountered nothing but problems. has anyone else tried to load (...) I am interested in teaching assembly language on the hb platform, and would like to know if there is a monitor-assembler program for the HB similar to BUFALO for the motorola EVB/EVBU Platforms. My goal is to read various input devices ie joystick, keyboard, etc. encode the data into some sort of bit or ascii stream and then transmit it to the HB for decoding and if possible transmit from the HB back to the PC for telemetry such as (...) OK Newbie Allert !!! I'm looking at the Handy Board as a major step up from the Basic Stamp 2, but I need to be able to send out serial messages from the digital outputs.
