Yes, there is a pin compatible EPROMs and EEPROMs for the Handyboard's RAM chip. However, without the RAM chip the board is limited to the 256 bytes (or 512 bytes in some versions) of on-chip RAM which can be pretty limiting. Another option is to (...)   connecting (LEGO) motors
 
Hoi, I am still puzzled about connecting motors to the handyboard. I have seen plenty of motors wich draw less current then 600 mA. But still they have a couple of Amps stall current. Could you post the names of any useful books you find? For that matter, can anyone else suggest some good (and affordable...) books? Hi all, it turns out that the answer for doing this has been available for two years (!) Kent Farnsworth put together a set of GNU compiler tools, Randy's modified AS11 assembler, and a DOS version of the "as11_ic" Unix shell script, all working for (...)
