  voice synthesis

Has anyone been able to set up a voice synthesis circuit with their Handy Board? I remember that quite a few years ago, Radio Shack carried a pair of voice synthesis chips that appeared easy to connect to an 8 bit data bus or serial line, but my (...)   Ticks for start_process

Hi Sriram, The "ticks" argument to start_process won't do what you want. The "ticks" argument to start_process is used for fine-tuning the relative amount of time different processes get. The number defines a single time "slice" -- that is, the (...) (27 years ago, 30-Jun-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

My board downloads the pcode_hb.s19 file successfully, but when I reboot the LCD continues to show the single row of blocks and no beep. I have done (...)   Re: spi serial port.

(...) Tom Dickens built a RoboCat using four 68HC11 processors that talk over the SPI bus. He described the project in the JAN-MAR 1997 issue of ROBOTICS DIGEST. You can reach him at tpd6908@yak.ca.boeing.com or (206) 655-7748. Cheers, Michael A. (...) (27 years ago, 30-Jun-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Communication with PC (2)

REF: TCP/IP & the HandyBoard Hello Mr. Chuck, Thanks for the feedback and sorry for the delay of my own feedback. I inquired about the TCP/IP alternative because we have acquired two Nomadic Technologies Mercury RF TCP/IP modems. They are (...) (27 years ago, 30-Jun-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
