Hi everyone, I have had the Polaroid sonar sensor working for a while and I just noticed some limitations in it. Regarding sensing flame/arc...Eltec Instruments make pyroelectric detectors to detect flames and arcs emanating from arc welding etc.. you can do it on your fingers... each finger is a bit... no fingers is 0, pinky 1, ring 2, middle 4, pointer 8, etc... once you get it down, counting bits is a breeze... i (missing on finger) can count to 512... math is still pretty hard... but can (...)
