Kent, I read your quick explaination of how to connect the Polaroid 6500 sonar board to the HandyBoard, and I have a couple of questions.... (URL) a system similiar to the Polaroid 6500, but costs <$10 to build. Has anyone done it? Should I try it and share the results? (of course I should!) I placed an order with Digital Micro Systems for two complete handyboard systems on 16-April-97. Delivery was promised by 5/12. It has not been received. w/o the ds1233, the contents of the ram will become corrupted during power-up or power-down of the 6811. an r/c could protect during power-up, but wouldn't reset the 6811 during power down. remember it's still trying to execute code as system (...)
