Howdy- I was wondering about the DS1233 EconoReset thingy- what would happen if it wasn't there and reset was just tied high or through a RC delay to high? Does the DS1233 just add to 'reset stability' or is it important to keep reset from going (...) (27 years ago, 20-May-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

(...) Jameco's (www.jameco.com) May-June-July catalog lists them for 13.95 in quantities of 1-9. They're on page 13 but they are the wrong (Dual in Line) package so I'm not sure this helps. Bob. Anyone know where to get a hold of one 6811 microprocessor for around $10? Everything I've seen sofar either wants you to buy in bulk (you have to buy 23 @ $7.11 from Motorolla) or almost $20 for 1 chip. This stinks! Any info would be appreciated. (...) (...) Are you holding down the STOP button? With the board powered on, read the voltage at pin 3 of the 6811. When pressing the STOP button, pin 3 should read between zero volts and 0.6v.
