(...) You need that resistor to stabilize the crystal frequency. Try Radio Shack if it is missing from the kit. It doesn't have to be 1/8 watt, 1/4 or 1/2 watt is fine, just make sure it is 2.2 megaohm. (...) So far so good. (...) There is probably (...) Hello all: We got the handyboard assembly kit from Digital Micro Systems. We are putting it together now. Everything has gone well. Thanks, the instructions are really good. Hi I've just received my Polaroid sonar stuff, but there's no documentation ! (of course Polaroid appear to have closed for Xmas.....) Does anyone have the pin assignments for the 6500 series Polaroid sonar module. The connector is roughly in the (...) (28 years ago, 23-Dec-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

I spilled coffee on my handyboard this morning - it was powered off at the time. There was liquid across several pins on the 6811, though. I removed the 6811 and cleaned it up, then reinserted it.
