I was looking on the Handy Board web page instructions on howw to wire sensors and motors to the HB. I thought that the two smaller ends went to ground and the longer transmitter side with a 330ohm resistor went to the 5v port and the longer recever (...) Hello, I made a terrible mistake. By mistake I connected the pos. side of the powerheader (10 V) to the middle row of the digital ports (Vccc ; 5 V , (if I'm not mistaking)). I was working with IR detectors this morning when this happened.... one detector was connected to the special detector port provided in the handy board. Have just got to the testing stage this lunch time and have a few problems. 1) When testing the motor ports the LEDs light up in the sequence M0 green - M0 red - M1 red - M1 green - M2 green - M2 red - M3 red - M3 green. I,ve just received my Handyboard pcbs from Douglas Electronics and they were very quick in getting them over to me in the UK. I,ve just about got them chiped up and will be testing today.
