  infrared communication

Hello, I'm trying to find information on how to implement infrared communication between my PC and my RugWarrior (a 68HC11 board). I want is to use the serial interface of the board (another port would be fine btw), which is normally connected via a (...) (28 years ago, 5-Dec-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  baud rates

Hi all, I have a question concerning baud rates and the SCI port. I looked in one of the pink books and found the maximum baud rate it shows is 131.072k baud. I need it to be 250k baud. I also noticed that the baud rate is dependant on the crystal (...) (28 years ago, 5-Dec-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: SPI code

(...) Just to be clear: the code I have promised is 1200 asynchronous serial output from the HB (from a pin other than its built-in RS-232 out :-), *not* SPI code. Mike is correct in stating the place for info is the 6811 "pink book." See the HB (...) (28 years ago, 5-Dec-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  RE:

(...) Isn't that what the SPI is for? Set one up as master, and all others as slaves. Look in the 'pink' book. I don't know of any existing drivers, but Dr. Fred Martin at MIT has stated he will write some Real Soon Now, maybe January. Keep checking (...) Hi everybody, I already asked information about the SCI bus of the 68HC11. I had like to make a network, but I don't know which one to use: I2C, SCI, CAN, ... Did anybody knows information about this, or wrote some driver for I2C for instance? (...) (28 years ago, 5-Dec-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Received handyboard :-( ... ---> ... :-)

YES! The handy board 1.2 got another happy user! I received the Handy Board with an American 120/60 adapter instead of an European but except for paying a lot of money for that item being shipped to the bin there are plenty European transform (...)   Re: Sonar

Sorry, no immediate help, but we have two Polaroids and ordered Handyboard today, so we'll be getting the sonar active the rest of this week and hooking up to HB early next week, so we'll share what is happening. (...) (28 years ago, 5-Dec-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  downloading

Greetings everyone, This is my first message to the Handy Board mailing list, as I am a previous miniboard user finally stepping up. However, my progress is being thwarted by not being able to download pcode_hb.s19. I am using a PC and I have the (...) (28 years ago, 5-Dec-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
