Hello I am asking for RJ12 connectors in electronic components shop in Spain,and they does not know what is that. My question is: What is the difference between RJ11 and R12?, is it mechanical?, just only pin configuration? (28 years ago, 2-Dec-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Someone has already taken the neccessary steps to relieve us of most of the work. Go to the HandyBoard HP's Software contributions and look into the directory of "kent". From there, you can download the source code that Kent wrote for the HB sonar (...) (28 years ago, 1-Dec-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

HI, I would like to connect my Polaroid transducer to my Handy Board in such a way that I can determine if there are objects in front of me and how far away the object(s) are. I think you're right. I used a transistor to drive the INIT with its emmiter and feed the TTL signal to the base. It seems to work fine now. :) You know what's funny, I tried using a CMOS chip (HCT) and it was able to drive the INIT signal. I figure (...) (28 years ago, 28-Nov-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Hi, In the book "Mobile robotics -Inspiration to Implementation" the addition of a logarthmic amplifier to the o/p of a photocell is discussed.
