Hi,
In the book "Mobile robotics -Inspiration to Implementation" the
addition of a logarthmic amplifier to the o/p of a photocell is
discussed. This logarithmic mapping is supposed to make the sensor more
sensitive in dark rooms. Has anyone tried this ?? success, failures???
will the photocell work better than a photodiode after the
addition of this log amplifier? wont the ouput wedge if it is 1 or
less than 1....(since LOG values become nagative) ???
any help will be appreciated
Sriram
