  RE: IR communication (fwd)

There will be a lot of IR radiation bouncing around and that can be problematic. Another IR detection technique is to use a camcorder, they are sensitive to IR light. Low light CCD cameras are even better. If you want to hook up 4 IR xmitters from a (...) (28 years ago, 20-Nov-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Battery Care

Hi, What's the best way to care for the NiCd pack of the Handyboard? I understand that NiCd's undergo the "memory effect".   Uh oh, serial questions

I am trying to get a handyboard and a miniboard to talk to each other over the serial ports. I am using Randy Sargent's notes, and that all seems fine.
