Fred, I'm confused by the Pitsco site. Which package are
you referring to as the "Mindstroms Bulk" set? Have you seen
one of these?? I'm wondering if there is any advantage over 4
retail Mindstorms sets at $199 each or so....
Software: I was planning to buy RoboLab for $25 from Pittsco, but
for younger kids the RcxCODE in Mindstorms is good. I also am
using RcxCC/NQC which is very good for kids age 10 up. I saw
RoboLab 2.0 at Mindfest and was very impressed with the data handling
and graphing capability, but it won't be available until 1Q2000.
Is anyone else using the Pitsco-packaged sets? Can you give us your
opinion??
