I bought a opened Cybermaster on eBay. Once I finally got to the place where the motors are tested (hate that software!, please lego don't put building instructions on CD!) the internal motors work but the externally connected one does not. I have (...) (25 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

(...) And it will be necessary to change the CyberMasters to use different radio frequencies, then. Otherwise when PC try polling, everybody will respond at the same time. Cheers, Hao-yang Wang (25 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

Sorry for cross posting this but... I tried many times to *post* to the lugnet._______@lugnet.com mailling lists scheme but never worked. I'm tired of going to the (URL) setting things up, all goes well at the web side, but I always get the "441 New (...) (25 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

Without picking up the soldering iron and modifying its frequency, talking to multiple CyberMasters on the same frequency is, I guess, very similar to talking to multiple RCXs through IR. When the PC sends out a command through the tower, every (...) (25 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

(...) I presume by Xtal you are talking about some frequency device like a crystal. What kind of replacement would work, and how easy is it to change the frequency? (25 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

My cybermaster box has a 27MHZ sticker on it. Did Lego produce cybermasters on different frequencies or is 27MHZ the only one? (25 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

Hi, yeah... me I just went through such trouble using Java. The RTS should be 'false'. Then by experimenting I found switching the DTR before and after sending to have some positive effect. I trust you adhere to + starting a session with 'Alive' (...) (25 years ago, 24-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Hi, I've written a small Visual Basic program so I can use Cybermaster under Windows 3.1x. (So I cannot use spirit.ocx.) Sending commands works (motor on/off, sound, etc.). But I don't get any echo. I cannot get any sensor data, and I can't see if (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Jim, I also had problems with the control tower. It was over when I installed a fresh battery. Then I modified the control tower so I could connect an extarnal power-supply. Now it's alway working. regards, Bert J. Giesen Jim Nyby <jnyby@waypt.com> (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)
