Busy Bee in the UK can get them - they are currently out, but are ordering one for me. (...) AFAIK with Cybermaster you can only use passive sensors and the programs can only be very small. I'd go for RIS. (I first got RIS and bought Cybermaster as an add-on for ca $90.) Hi Just a question: in which year the Cybermaster set has been released and has it ever been sold in the USA? I think it was released in Europe during 1998 and has been never officially sold in USA. (...) I would suspect that antenna placement, and possibly considering a different antenna design, would make a huge difference. Look in some radio books for things like Yagi designs. I would second the recommendation for trying different locations for the tower. At one point I had so many problems with "dead spots" with my exploring rover (that needs to communicate with the map making/route finding software running on the PC), (...) You are right the nominal voltage of this recharable batteries is 1.2V but I tested the voltage of a just refreshed batterie under load and then the real voltage was about 1.25 (...)
