Answer: It is simple: I used the prolific usb to serial adapter, configured the Serial communication to 9600,8,n,xon/xoff , took a NULL-Modem Serial Cable and linkt pin 4 and 6 on the 9-pin connector together. Hello, I am a new user to the Bricx Command Center. Forgive me if bad English. The trick is that they NOT in the directory which is installed on your hard drive when you install the software, they remain on the CD so you have to look inside the ISO file. (...) XP doesn't like the Cybermaster CD because o a compatibility issue with QuickTime. You can still get access to the building instructions though. Hello again, It is a dutch version of cybermaster software. And it needs to be run on windows 98 or something like that. (...) If you get error 8065006D at start-up, that means you have an incompatible QuickTime environment. Cybermaster will only run with Quicktime 6.4 or lower. As well as using Windows95 Compatibility Mode, you also have to ensure you're running QuickTime 6.4 or lower (or you get startup error 8065006D). Cybermaster is not compatible with the latest (version 7 and up as at May 2008) versions of Quicktime, (...) (18 years ago, 4-Jun-08, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

(...) I found changing the Registry settings unnecessary, but you DO need to run it in Windows95 Compatibility mode, as described elsewhere on this newsgroup. (...) Oops, I didn't realize that. In that case it might be perfectly allright with me, because I will need to set the light sensor against a dedicated light source anyway.
