  Code-only Line-tracking competition

You can enter the WORKSHOP 3D LEGO RCX Challenge - a robot competition to be held in Seattle on October 6th - even if you don't want to travel here. There will be a "code only" line-tracking event that anyone can enter. Build a "standard robot" at (...) (23 years ago, 7-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

I don't think so. The rom routine will process remote control event, you don't need to download firmware! You can try Beep button, it will beep without firmware. Zhengrong (...) (23 years ago, 11-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: new RoboLab 2.5 compatible with old serial IR tower & RCX 1.0

1) If you have a serial tower, there is no reason I can think of to purchase the USB tower. If you use a USB tower, then you will need the USB support that Robolab 2.5 provides. 2) The hardware differences between the 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 bricks are (...) Hi Chris, I just started experimenting with brick-to-brick rcx communication. This is some code that I got working. It doesn't do a whole lot, but it demonstrates the basics of what you need to do. There are two bricks involved. Hostmask is 0xf0. (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
