You can always go to
http://www.lugnet.com
and click on "Lookup a set". That brings you to
http://www.lugnet.com/pause/search/
where you can type in the set number. That usually brings up a description of
the set that includes the year, parts count, name, and picture. Older sets
sometimes include building instructions, too.

| In fact, (at least last time I checked) if you typed in a set number the generic search engine was smart enough to recognize a set number and go directly to a set description (instead of to a post discussing the set.) -Luis (...) ###...### Profanity (...)
