I have just ordered 4 robolab sets for my classroom. I expressed my concern
about losing the power adapter input and my Canadian supplier (Spectrum)
called Denmark to check it out. She claims that the educational sets being
shipped still contain the power input port. Apparently this has created quite
a controversy at LEGO head office.

| (...) Interesting. I just ordered a spare RCX, from an educational supplier in the UK, and was happy it had the port, but considered myself lucky. It would make a lot of sense, but also makes the decision to remove it on the 'retail' versions look (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)
