Hi.

I wish to install a power connector (similar to those used by 9 volt
chargers) on th RCX and then either use a power cable or a pack of
alkaline c-cells to power the thing.

Does anyone have any experience with fitting a connector to RCX.
Ideally, it would be nice to do it in such a way that it can be
easily undone when you want to power the unit with AA cells.

I'm also interesting in a mux to expand I/O for the RCX. Has anyone
commercialized something like this yet?

Basically, I would like to have more distinct I/O ports. Stacking
connectors to effectively daisy-chain the ports doesn't quite do
that.
