Last night I made a small test with PIC16F84 controller. I "graphically
copied" few Code Pilot bar code patterns into my test program and made
proper timing loop to be able to emit these codes with red LED. With no
difficulties I got Code Pilot understand these synthesized bar codes. Now
the question.
In recording mode Code Pilot plays sound effects real time but motor control
is not possible. I mean when you e.g.. read motor forward code motor does
not start in program mode. Does anyone know if there is a way to get Code
pilot to respond immediately to what ever (motor control) control code is
read ?
I have not yet tried to explore undocumented codes how Code pilot responds
while receiving something else than codes from Code Pilot code chart. I have
not yet figured out what Lego bar code is. I have briefly checked "all
known" bar code types but not found what this is. Does anyone have more
information about Code pilot bar codes ?
If I succeed with my experiment I am going to make small converter RCX IR
messages => Code Pilot bar code input.

However, I never found any barcode standard which matched the one the Code Pilot used, so I suppose it's either a (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)
