I have been doing experiments with the Scout brick from the LEGO Robotics Discovery set and have come across a few things that have me scratching my head. Please excuse the length of this post. Oh, I agree wholeheartedly. I believe the RDS Scout fills a nitch in the market that was lacking. When the RIS first came out, I was working at an educational toy store that sold it. Most kids that got one loved it but quite a few RISs did get (...) (25 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Lego is releasing some details of the Scout OS at the Lego Mindstorms web site. www.legomindstorms.com The article makes reference a Scout SDK, but I couldn't find the link to it. The other stuff looks quite interesting -- fewer and dumber sensors, (...) (25 years ago, 6-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)
