| | Did you buy a second RCX, or a second RIS? (The RIS is the big MindStorms set; the RCX is just the "programmable brick." You either got a great price on the RIS {salivating} or a lousy price for the RCX ... --Doug Wilcox -----Original Message----- (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

| | | | | | (...) Hi all - I'm new to this list - why? - I just got my RIS 1.5 last week (RIS 1.0 was never available in Denmark - as far as I know) - someone in RTL asked me for a scan of the new lego's in the RIS 1.5 - so I uploaded a scan here: All bricks: (...) The double yellow connector (3rd column, 12 rows down) is kind of interesting as well. I don't think (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

| | | | | | Thanks for the scan. OK, so we got a slip disk (4th column, 6th item) - very nice. The RDS has one of those, too. So does the Technic motor set. The blue connector (5th column, 5th item) is used in other sets as a quick-connect brick for modules. (...) (25 years ago, 19-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)
