Part of the trick is that the RCX doesn't use irda at all...

Anyone knows how to control the IRdA port directly in Win95/98? With direct control, we can control/receive RCX and other IR devices directly without using the tower. (26 years ago, 17-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics)
