I use Rayovac Renewal rechargable alcalines myself. I get lots of time on
each charge and can use the same cells over and over again for over a year. I
get a four pack of AAs for about $6 and spent $25 or so on the charger and this
setup has EASILY paid for itself. NiCds or NiMH cells only have 1.2V per cell
instead of 1.5V so their performance isn't as good IMHO.

| I've been using Duracell alkalines and they don't seem to last very long at all. Has anyone found a brand that works better? (I've avoided the Duracell "Extra" (or whatever their premium supermarket battery is) because the package seems to imply (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)
