I can understand the first part of the rule below, but I thought that the cans
where to be placed at random, so which can placement rules are you referring
to?.
"The robot may have knowlege about the number of cans or about rules of
can placement."

| (...) cans (...) The robot can know that there will be 3 cans. It may or may not be helpful to also know that the cans will not be closer than 12 inches apart and not closer than 12 inches to the wall. p.s. I'm going to convert all the measurements (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-99, to lugnet.robotics)
