    links to pictures of Star Wars Mindstorms sets —Dwayne Jacques Fontenot

     Observations: It looks like it's the barcode pilot all over again: lots of brains isolated from the outside world (scarce in/outputs). Appearantly there is one motor and a speaker built in, and NO 9V in- or output! It wouldn't surprise me if it was (...) (26 years ago, 22-Feb-99, to lugnet.robotics)

     I don't know about that many specialized parts. I see parts from the 1999 supercar, tubing from the RIS / cyberslam sets, standard tubing. the connectors from some of the giant model set.       wow, you guys are good. I looked at the picture and I couldn't identify many standard parts. I haven't seen the new Technic sets yet (I am very disappointed in the selection in Houston, the ToysRUs and even FAO Schwartz have very few Technic sets - (...)    (...) That's what I think too. But look at the two gears in the gear train that powers the wheels of the l-3go robot: Aren't they new? I don't think I have seen that kind of gears before.
