I dunno if it's worth the cost, but you could do an HTML page with all
those URLs, organised by chapter, and smack that on a CD. Then you can
legitimately say "comes with CD", and there are still people who'll
buy anything with a CD in it over something without, it appears :)
Also, not having to type in umpteen (100+?) URLs _would_ in fact be a
definite bonus. And you could always fill the spare space with a few
frozen versions of some of the software - if people like it, they can
upgrade to a new version without much trouble, if they have net
access, and for those who don't (they apparently still exist,
somewhere out there) it'd be a godsend, I imagine.
Anyway, just some stream-of-consciousness.
