My general feeling is that most of the software is evolving
so fast that anything we put on a CD would be out of
date by the time the book was printed. I am planning to
make the book chock full of URLs, however. Some of these
are bound to become out of date but overall I think it
will be a good asset.

| (...) I dunno if it's worth the cost, but you could do an HTML page with all those URLs, organised by chapter, and smack that on a CD. Then you can legitimately say "comes with CD", and there are still people who'll buy anything with a CD in it over (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-99, to lugnet.robotics)
