Yes this works fine, just using a normal sensorcable !
Another simple out of the box solution is: first Master NXT connects to other
remote pbLUa consoles by bluetooth.... The master can send Lua commands directly
to remote NXT and is able to execute any code remotely... OK it's slow (9k6) but
it works.
Using RS-485 is more complex, beacuse you ahve to add NXT addresses for ech
device at the bus and you need to add a master slave communication protocol...
