Re: Follow That Line - BrickFest Style

Is there any more information about date/time/location? I'll be bringing a robot for this one. (19 years ago, 17-Aug-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.robotics, FTX)

  Re: Mindstorms software

I had it working for a while on XP but then it would crash during the tutorials and the computer would not work correctly until I rebooted. I think the problem is with Quicktime 3.x. (...) I'd back this. If there's a strong background with C, you could use NQC indeed, as Lamar suggested. If you are more into an object oriented approach, the java-based leJOS platfrom (www.leJOS.org) may be an option for you. Regards, Matthias (...) (19 years ago, 15-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Mindstorms software

Tom, The answer is yes for sure if you have WindowsXP with SP1 and SP2 installed. I have many Windows98 and ME installed on my system and they all work well. All you have to do is to click on start -> Programs -> Accessories and finally click on the (...) (19 years ago, 14-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics)
