Re: Great Ball Contraption at BrickFest '06

(...) Yes. So the bad news is a lot of standard GBC modules will break if they hit a Zamor sphere, so they really can't be used unconstrained in a GBC. the good news is there are a number of GBC modules that can process both easily, so if you build (...)   Re: Great Ball Contraption at BrickFest '06

(...) Hey Mat, Dont know if anyone has answered you or not, Janey, did the initial test, and others have since confirmed that NO, the 2 balls are different in size.   Re: NXT compatible bluetooth adapters

(...) Correction, Tried again with the Billionton and managed to get it to work. The trick is not to use the software that came with the adapter but rather to use the native drivers in WinXP. So uninstall the application software. Insert the adapter (...) (19 years ago, 9-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Robolab

Keep in mind I am new at this. I ran accross a website today looking for information about Lego's Robolab. I have a few basic questions perhaps someone could answer. 1) Is Robolab a standalone program our must you have Labview installed too? 2) (...) (19 years ago, 8-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Great Ball Contraption at BrickFest '06

(...) Hey, Just wondering, are the Bionicle radioactive green balls pretty much the same size/weight as the soccer balls? I have just come across a HUGE (about 500) stockpile of these things and thought they would be good for testing. I live in aus (...) (19 years ago, 8-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: NXT compatible bluetooth adapters

(...) Here's an addition to your list: Device MFG: D-LINK Device Model: DBT-122 Cost: $23.00 SGD Works fine on Win XP BTW, the DBT-120 has been phased out. This one didn't work: Device MFG: Billionton Device Model: USBBTC1A Cost: $29.00 SGD Nogo on (...) (19 years ago, 8-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Jordan said: (...) themselves: (...) is available at (URL) assuming that when they give an adapter the three-happy-minifig-head rating, that means they've tested it on BOTH OS X and Windows XP. Jeff Garbers (19 years ago, 8-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Follow That Line - BrickFest Style

Well folks, I made a simple (and somewhat silly) challenge the other day to Steve Hassenplug and Bryan Bonahoom while chatting about Line Following robots. The final outcome is another event at BrickFest this year. This event is not as formal as (...) (19 years ago, 8-Aug-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.robotics, FTX)
