Re: Lego Education Pamphlet indicates a NXT to old style brick adapter cable

(...) Alas, I've only seen the phone ones. I used one through a turntable with the RCX cables, but of course that's only two wires. (Actually I used all four wires and basically sent two RCX cables through the one "detangler"). I would imagine they (...) (19 years ago, 10-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: NXT newsgroup needed

(...) As I've been one of the lucky few who have had the opportunity to play with the NXT as part of the MDP, I can tell you that these two are vastly different beasts. I've found the hardware, software, even building techniques to be significantly (...) (19 years ago, 10-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Lego Education Pamphlet indicates a NXT to old style brick adapter cable

(...) A very flexible solution... with the only problem that it is a bit bulky. (...) Oh... nice little devices you make me discover! They would be wonderful through a technic turntable. But all of these gizmos I've seen on the web have only 4 (...) (19 years ago, 10-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: NXT newsgroup needed

(...) Thanks, John. You've described things well. I'm holding off on creating a new group for a few reasons. One is: when more information comes to light about the NXT, it may become apparent that 'RCX' is a good place for discussion of it. (Heh, At (...) (19 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Lego Education Pamphlet indicates a NXT to old style brick adapter cable

(...) That might be because they would be manufactured by a third party... BTW, official LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT add-ons are listed here, as well as on the legoeducation website. (URL) (19 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: Lego Education Pamphlet indicates a NXT to old style brick adapter cable

(...) It's just got to be a matter of time before they sell this individually or in small groups of 3, 5 or a dozen, right? Todd (19 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Lego Education Pamphlet indicates a NXT to old style brick adapter cable

(...) The converter cables have been publicly known for a while. However, they are still unavailable for individual purchase from LEGO Education, unlike the rechargeable battery which is available to purchase separately. (19 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)
