  NXT inventory

Now that the NDA is lifted, does anyone have an inventory of the contents of the NXT? (preferably with pictures of any new elements) (20 years ago, 1-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: The NXT NDA is relaxed...

(...) Indeed, I just published some NXT technic stuff (motors behavior, NXT cable hacking) on my site: (URL) to come... Enjoy! Philo (20 years ago, 1-May-06, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.announce)

My first NXT MOC - Rooster - a biped

Hi All, Well, it has been hard to keep quit, but now I don't have to! Here is my one big creation using my advanced version of the LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT set. (URL) Rooster is a two legged walker that can walk forwards and backwards, and turn right or (...) (20 years ago, 1-May-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.cad)

  The NXT NDA is relaxed...

OK, the members of the MDA can finally open up a little now, and believe me they're ready - we've a lot of information to share, and can be much more active about it. So ask away (because I'm lousy at guessing). One of the MDP members, Jim K. has (...) (20 years ago, 1-May-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: 3 days and counting

(...) Actually, I have the same NDA as you - given the amount of work you've done, you were dirt cheap ;-). (20 years ago, 30-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: 3 days and counting

(...) And to speed things up, if anybody has any questions they'd like to frame *now*, so we'd have an answer prepared on 1 May, that would be great... (...) Hey, how'd you get a number? I want a number too!! (20 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  3 days and counting

We get to talk in a few days..... anyone want to get fired up for question and answer.... Kevin Clague MUP 6 (20 years ago, 28-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: help line follower program-RIS2

[Dang, Steve, you beat me to it. Are you *ever* off-line ;) ?] (...) The other constraint can be how sharply the line turns. If you have a bunch of 120° turns in the line, it will be more difficult to keep the robot's light sensor over the line edge (...) (20 years ago, 24-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: help line follower program-RIS2

(...) Robert, There are many things that can affect how well a line following robot can work. Assuming you're using a single light sensor, and a differential drive robot (tank drive), the simplest approach is to use "edge-following". This means if (...)   help line follower program-RIS2

I have formed a LEGO group here in Colombia using RIS 2 and the standard RIS2 software. Our challenge is for each team to make a line follower that will follow a white line on a black field. I could use some sample programs to help the students. We (...) (20 years ago, 24-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: lnpd exexutable

(...) [SNIP] (...) Cort, I would venture to guess from the error you are getting that the lnpd code on the BrickOS website never was quite working under cygwin.   Mindstorms.NET Request for Comments

I've been working with José David Parra on the next version of his (URL) RCX.NET> project, because 1.) the NXT system is coming out, and 2.)
