Actually, is there a great deal of NXT stuff that should be
separate from the RCX stuff?  Maybe another group isn't required.

Don't split the community.  That would be bad.  Time will tell if
there needs to be a separate community.

The thing is there are already RCX, Scout, Microscout, spybotics, and
cybermastger sub-groups, and it hasn't hurt anything.

How do you know?

Perhaps topics discussed on one of those lists would have been of
tremendous value to someone on one of the other lists - since that
person didn't see the message, they'd never know that they'd suffered.

It's hard to prove a negative.

In general, most Internet groups work hard to avoid fragmenting
lists unnecessarily.
