How do you know?
Perhaps topics discussed on one of those lists would have been of
tremendous value to someone on one of the other lists - since that
person didn't see the message, they'd never know that they'd suffered.
It's hard to prove a negative.
In general, most Internet groups work hard to avoid fragmenting
lists unnecessarily.
