Right- I shaved off two of the studs with a paring knife (opposite corners),
then the screws just twisted right in. I said 3/4" before, but that's too long.
Maybe 1/2-inch? Take a brick with you. I found them at Radio Shack, though, I
know that much.

Molex pins are expensive, and you don't crimp them. Great for somethings, but
not this. Phone wire with crimps is a good choice. And you might consider
'liquid solder', it's a sort of a metal-based glue. For the bricks I made, I
just twisted the wire around the screws and squished it down with pliers. Not
ideal, but it worked. If you're building something that move or vibrates or
takes some abuse, you need to attach them better.
