    Compact synchro Drive —Patrick Levy
Hi all, I just finished my "compact synchro drive". I started this project some weeks ago, and i was studing an alternative to the always used turntables (that turns the entire robot into a large, fat and heavy being). This model is very compact, (...) (20 years ago, 28-Nov-04, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

Philo, It´s a good idea, I never have seen this gear before. But the last set it comes with this gear date from ten years ago, so i think there is not a chance to get 4 of these... I will see in e-bay, who knows. Thanks for the tip, Patrick (...) (20 years ago, 28-Nov-04, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Compact synchro Drive —Patrick Levy
Yhe steering mechanism is very strong, and i am sure it can handle twice the actual weight. But i'am not sure about the traction mechanism, because it have a lot of friction on the axles and more gear mesh than i would like. But this is only the (...)
