Has anyone been able to build the Legway using the EOPDs and program it with Robolab? Is it even possible? Thanks! James C.    Hello, We have used EOPDs with Robolab. We have not built a Legway. Sounds like a fun project, I will see if the younger family wants to do that over the week and weekend. A home-learning project! Bill -----Original Message----- From: (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) While I agree this sounds like a fun project, don't be too disapointed if things don't go as well as you hope. I did some testing with NQC, and I found the standard firmware to be too slow to balance a Legway. I'm not going to say it can't be (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I spent a couple of evenings with a Legway, EOPD sensors and Robolab. I could not get it to balance or reach any condition of stability. I eventually 'gave up' because I felt that the violent control actions would destroy my motors :) Steve, (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-03, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Legway and Robolab —Mark Riley
(...) Apparently, the standard firmware imposes a 100ms delay before a motor can change directions (ostensibly to protect the motors). This might be the source of some of the instability. Dick Swan suggests a possible way around the delay at the (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-03, to lugnet.robotics)
