Yes, there is no difference between being on the crynwyr email list,
and being subscribed through email to the LUGNet version of the
list when it comes to receiving the messages. (I was subscribed
to both for a short time once.)
However when it comes to posting new messages, there is more
involved in posting to the LUGnet side of the alias than there
is posting to the Crynwyr side. But then again the additional
steps are specifically there to stop the sort of thing that
initiated this current discussion to begin with so...
