I wonder if the same approach that has been found for touch sensors
may apply here to. That is can the Csd Sensors be connected is parrallel
to a couple or three series resisters. Then when light hits the left
sensor it generates a number and when the light hits the right sensor a
different number is generated, and so forth.

I was thinking about making a passive light sensor with 2 Csd components

should be able to use the change in voltage to determine which element to
read.  If anyone has thought of this and made a circuit I'd greatly
appreciate it - otherwise its back to the my old textbooks.  It should be
pretty simple, my old roommate dropped out of EE - he should be able to help
me.
