Dunno - but the overriding thing that should determine which one you'd
want is that the 1.5 RIS comes with a SERIAL PORT (RS-232) interface to
the infra-red tower - the 2.0 set has a more modern USB interface.
The USB version is better - but if you have an older computer without
a USB port - or if you are running Win95 (which doesn't have USB
support) then you might be forced to go with the 1.5 set.
Aside from that, there are some minor parts differences. The construction
notes are not really like 'conventional' Lego sets - they don't so much
give you a step-by-step method to build something - instead they provide
some more general building principles. I havn't seen the 2.0 notes -
but I doubt they are all that much different in this regard.
