The goal has been to control the RCX using programs written in a standard,
high-level language such as C.
Markus Noga has put together some source (he calls it an OS) which you can
use to interface between code you write and the RCX. It's based on a
compiler called GCC.
I am working on finishing a ROM Reference based on my notes at the first
site listed above.

| Thanks for the links, everyone. I'm wondering if anyone's doing any hardware hacking; i.e. using the I/O directly from the H8 or using its interrupts, basically going straight for the heart of the system and bypassing all the pretty stuff. (...) (26 years ago, 30-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)
