I am getting a Mindstorms for Christmas (two actually!), and I'm already
planning to use Visual Basic for most of my programming. I only have VB
3.0, however. Will that still work, or do I need version 5.0 or higher?
Thanks in advance.

| (...) I don't believe it will work, VB3.0 was back in the .VBX days. You could probably snag a copy of 4.0 pretty cheaply which should have the necessary .DLLs to work. (26 years ago, 22-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)

| You need VB 5.0. OCXs, such as the Spirit OCX, are 32 bit. The 32 bit version of VB 4.0 *might* work. Perhaps someone has tried it. (...) (26 years ago, 22-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)
