You need VB 5.0. OCXs, such as the Spirit OCX, are 32 bit. The 32 bit
version of VB 4.0 *might* work. Perhaps someone has tried it.

| VB 4.0 works for me. It is the 32bit professional version. I agree that 3.0 should not work. Sarah Clayton wrote in message <000201be2df9$80dc99...efault>... (...) (26 years ago, 23-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)

| I am getting a Mindstorms for Christmas (two actually!), and I'm already planning to use Visual Basic for most of my programming. I only have VB 3.0, however. Will that still work, or do I need version 5.0 or higher? Thanks in advance. - John (26 years ago, 22-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)
