| | | Our FIRST LEGO League team has an RCX that frequently loses it's memory and firmware and needs to be reloaded. However I have not yet personally caught it in the act of forgetting. My poor RCX got amnesia after receiving a severe mechanical agitation resulting from the catastrophic failure of a two-legged (...) (23 years ago, 14-Nov-01, to lugnet.robotics)

| | | | Dear Steve, (...) The connection between the battery holder and circuit board of the RCX is made by two spring clips. It's possible that one or both of these clips has gotten a little bent.
