And did you expect to see MacOS support? We all know by now that LEGO has
absolutely no intention of supporting MacOS users "out of the box" - and by
that I mean there is no MacOS software support provided with RIS x.x.
Remember that ROBOLAB is sold by LEGO under Dacta as an Educational value
add product.

Mac's are a MUCH larger share of the schools market than they are of the
home market - so it makes sense to support them with Dacta - but less
(economic) sense to support Mac's in the home.

Ummm...B.S.! I also have to bring up that...THEY HAVE ALREADY MADE THE MAC
PRODUCT! Why don't they just bundle it in the Mindstorms level product? Why
are they gouging Mac users an extra hundred bucks? Also, if Mac is such a
big part of school robotics, why in God's name wouldn't TLC want to support
those Mac home users, anyway? This seems really simple to me...

I'm frazzled over this, don't feel I'm articulating myself very well, and
want to really rant, but I'm holding back.

About a month back, someone from the TLC mothership (Billund) popped up on the
Mac Open-Transport developers mailing list asking questions about mac serial
port API, protocols, etc. Now, not meaning to draw any conclusions (like
question A implies product development B), but one wonders what might be 'in
development' over there. (esp since the entire Mac hardware line is now absent
builtin serial ports, having USB & firewire instead)
