| A lot of computer connectors are designed for "installation" connection, not repeated connect and disconnect. I would suggest you install a short male to female "pigtail" cable to relieve wear and tear on your already failing connector. Use of such (...) (24 years ago, 14-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)

| (...) If you open up the computer, you should be able to push them back into place from the back of the connector. However, once they get displaced like that, it'll happen more and more often.
