The Mindstorms touch sensor isn't a switch, but a sensor. You need an RCX or MicroScout to read it's status. It is not suited for directly switching a load like a motor. PVC pipe cement is the easiest kind of glue to get hold of for gluing Lego bricks. It is "VERY" effective. Use a tooth pick to apply it - you don't need much! (...) Actually, you need four transistors in what is called an H-bridge configuration. This is due to the fact that the motors are usually intended for bi-directional use. Thanks for the feedback people. I asked the question because I have been working on a walker for around 6 weeks, and was getting a bit discouraged. I have since had some success on the weekend. My walker will now go through it's complete walking (...) (24 years ago, 12-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)
