Not that I know of - but I think it would be hard to make something as convenient as the RCX from the point of view of nice packaging, connectors that fit the weird Lego electrical connectors (those are pretty clever - take the time to figure (...) I don't doubt that in the least! I took my RCX brick into VB class the other day and showed it and the manual for programming through spirit.ocx to my teacher. Now he knows what he's asking for on his birthday he said :) Along with 3 other people in (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.robotics)

I have been able to do some basic experiments in controlling the RCX from Director 7. I used a trial version of the DirectComm Xtra from DirectXtras which allows Director to access the serial port.
