Funny you should mention this because I just finished my "rough draft" syncro-drive bot. I found my turntables at www.brickbay.com for about $10 US each. Hi! Does anybody see a possibility to use the Palmpilots IR-Port with the RCX. I know that it is a IrDA-Port, but is it possible that the RCX understands IrDA or either way the Palm sends some RCX style commands? Any suggestions? Thanx! Sebastian (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Yeah, it's called an RCX ;) I have no idea why the RDS brick has any real appeal in the face of competition from the RCX one. No active sensor capability, and only 1k of room for programs?
